it's been quiet around here of late, namely because I’ve taken my blogging elsewhere!

We've just started to develop the blog for our new local affairs show, Detroit Today.

The show is mostly live (and usually lively!) discussion between our host and local newsmakers, policy analysts, journalists, teachers, clergy... We encourage listeners to call in / blog to weigh in on the issues as well. We're also moving forward with somewhat regular feature reports, essays, live music performances, and the occasional album review.

Saturday's at 7 a.m. and Sunday's at 10 a.m. is Detroit Today Weekend. A one-hour collection of the previous weeks most awesome segments. Producer A. Le Clair and myself co-host this one-hour, pre-recorded, weekend show! The first week was shaky, and I hope we'll get better as we move forward and learn more about this daily thang.
